In the results of the 2016 Economic Census, West Java, Central Java and East Java dominate the number of Micro, Small Enterprises (UMK) & Large Medium Enterprises (UMB) with a share of 50 percent of all businesses in Indonesia.

Nationally, DKI Jakarta is the province with the largest total compensation, namely 22 percent of the total value of business compensation data in the 2016 Economic Census.

Remuneration for workers' services/wages shows the amount of value issued by the company as a return for the business results produced by the workers.
